Next month it’s our great privilege to
welcome Most. Rev. Joseph D’Souza to
Lansdowne. He’ll be joining us for two
days on the 10 and 11 November.
Joseph D’Souza is an internationally
celebrated human rights advocate and
Christian Bishop whose work in India and
around the world has drawn the praise of
countless civil and religious leaders. He is
the initiator of the Christian Hindu
International Forum to create
understanding between Christians and
Hindus in different parts of the world and
to work together for India’s economic
development.
He is the Moderator Bishop and the
primate of the Good Shepherd Church of
India and is also the founder and
International President of the Dalit
Freedom Network an intercaste and
interracial alliance that works on behalf
of the Dalits (sometimes called
‘untouchables’) and other poor and
marginalized groups.
On the Saturday evening (10 th November
at 6:30pm) Joseph will be taking part in
Unreached: Discover, Pray, Go. This is an
evening of food, worship and prayer,
focusing on the unreached people groups
of the world, who are yet to hear the
gospel. We’re starting with an Indian
takeaway, before we engage with Joseph,
representatives from OM International
and the Dalit Freedom Network and pray
for those who are still unreached. Head
over to lansdownechurch.uk/unreached
to book your place for just £7, including
all food and drink.
On Sunday, Joseph will be speaking at all
our services. Again, we would love for you
to join us, as we catch a glimpse of what
God is doing beyond our little corner of
the world.
