NATIONAL CONVENTION--- NATIONAL STUDENT OFFICER EXPENSES COVERED---

Change Policy to read as follows:
1. The National Beta Club will pay the National Officers and National Leadership Representatives a $1,500 stipend
to attend the National Convention.
2. The National Beta Club will pay a stipend of $1,500 for the National Officers to attend state conventions. The
National Officer must be accompanied by his/her Club Sponsor or designee when traveling to a state convention.
Current Policy:
1. - The National Beta Club will pay for the following for the National Convention:
A. Transportation – at cost
B. Hotel – up to four nights; the pro rate share for that student based on a four students occupancy will be covered
unless otherwise approved by the CEO
C. Per diem – thirty-five dollars per day for up to five days
D. Convention registration
2. The National Beta Club will pay for the following for official visits to other State Conventions with the maximum allowed of
$1,500 with receipts required:
A. Transportation- at cost
B. Hotel – two to three nights hotel room cost (depends on the length of convention)
C. Per diem of thirty-five dollars per day
D. Parking fee
DIVISION CHANGES
Change Policy to split membership with the following divisions:
Elementary Division: Grades 4-5
Junior Division: Grades 6-8
Senior Division: Grades 9-12
