important if you are thinking of hanging them over a sofa. You<br />
don’t have to stretch them out over the furniture.<br />
If you don’t have a huge piece that will dominate the wall,<br />
don’t worry. Small pieces in a cluster can create an effect that<br />
beckons the viewer to come closer.<br />
One of the most overlooked aspects of adding art to the<br />
home wall is lighting. Galleries pay particular attention to the<br />
atmosphere they create with lighting, using it to enhance the<br />
effect. You can create a nice touch with adjustable track lighting<br />
or portrait lighting above art pieces.<br />
SOME FINAL CONSIDERATIONS<br />
1. Don’t judge your artwork by its price. There are a number<br />
of affordable online art galleries that offer great works without the<br />
hefty cost.<br />
2. Fabric and wallpaper are sometimes used to accent art.<br />
Keep that in mind as you are contemplating what pieces may fi t<br />
your situation.<br />
3. Any room of your house is suitable for art. That means don’t<br />
overlook the dining room or even the bathroom (presuming that<br />
your piece won’t be susceptible to the humidity of the shower).<br />
4. Don’t try to hang your art yourself. Two people allow one to<br />
hold the piece in place while the other makes sure the placement<br />
and alignment are in synch.<br />
5. As with other things in life, balance is a key. Don’t group<br />
