Dianne N. Dehinten, 83,<br />

of Glenview, died on Sept.<br />

27 in Naples, Florida.<br />

She was the loving wife<br />

of Byrd Dehinten, who<br />

preceded her in death after<br />

51 years of marriage;<br />

beloved mother of Melody<br />

(Dehinten) Llewellyn<br />

and grandmother of Robert<br />

Llewellyn III and Kristin<br />

Llewellyn of Naples,<br />

Florida; and beloved<br />

mother of April (Dehinten)<br />

Schnell and Eric<br />

Schnell and grandmother<br />

of Timothy and Matthew<br />

Schnell of Shoreview,<br />

Minnesota.<br />

Dianne was a proud<br />

graduate of Northwestern<br />

University with a Bachelor<br />

of Arts in Education.<br />

She worked as a teacher,<br />

as well as a co-owner<br />

of the Herbert Dehinten<br />

Company beside her husband.<br />

She was active in<br />

the Glenview Masonic<br />

community, as well as<br />

the Glenview Community<br />

Church.<br />

Dianne lived a generous<br />

and happy life, took<br />

pleasure in her family and<br />

grandchildren, and always<br />

enjoyed sharing her joy of<br />

music with others.<br />

A memorial service<br />

will be planned in Glenview<br />

for December 2018.<br />

Laurie Ann Konicek<br />

Laurie Ann Konicek,<br />

66, of Glenview, died on<br />

Oct. 1 surrounded by her<br />

loving family after a prolonged<br />

battle with cancer.<br />

She was a woman of<br />

strength, kindness, generosity<br />

and integrity. Born<br />

in Chicago to her cherished<br />

parents, Lorene and<br />

the late Thomas Loiacano,<br />

she spent a wistful childhood<br />

on Claremont Avenue.<br />

She is the proud and<br />

loving mother of Kristopher<br />

(Nikki) Konicek and<br />

Colleen Konicek (Jason)<br />

Scott; doting grandmother<br />

of Dominic, Colin, and<br />

Tyler; dear sister of Kimberly<br />

(Rick) Slack and the<br />

late Craig (Karin) Loiacano;<br />

and fond aunt of several<br />

nieces and nephews.<br />

After being blessed with<br />

the birth of both her children,<br />

she moved to Glenview<br />

and started her long<br />

and wonderful career at St.<br />

Catherine Laboure School.<br />

She began as a second grade<br />

teacher and loved nurturing<br />

children in academics and<br />

love for the Lord.<br />

Laurie went on to attain<br />

her Master’s degree in administration<br />

from Loyola<br />

University. It was then she<br />

found her purpose: becoming<br />

principal of St. Catherine’s.<br />

She was not only<br />

a principal, she was a best<br />

friend to all her staff. Her<br />

impact was profound on<br />

both students and adults.<br />

St. Catherine’s was her second<br />

home.<br />

She finished her career<br />

at St. Margaret Mary’s in<br />

Chicago. She brought her<br />

boundless energy and love<br />

to the school in its final two<br />

years in the archdiocese.<br />

To know Laurie was<br />

to truly love her. ‘Some<br />

people come into our lives<br />

and leave footprints on our<br />

hearts and we are never<br />

ever the same.’<br />

Arlene Bartiluzzi Danielson<br />

Arlene Bartiluzzi Danielson,<br />

82, of Glenview,<br />

formerly of Highland<br />

Park, died Sept. 24. Born<br />

in October 1935 in Fort<br />

Sheridan to Rena Zagalia<br />

and John Bartiluzzi, she<br />

was a graduate of Highland<br />

Park High School and<br />

a former Miss Highwood.<br />

She was the beloved wife<br />

of 53 years, to the late<br />

Ronald S. Danielson.<br />

She was a loving<br />

daughter, wife, mother,<br />

grandmother, sister and<br />

aunt, as well as a die-hard<br />

Cubs fan her entire life.<br />

She finally got to see them<br />

win it all.<br />

She will remain close in<br />

our hearts and in all those<br />

she touched with her love<br />

and friendship. Her beautiful<br />

soul and sparkling<br />

eyes will be missed.<br />

She is survived by her<br />

five children, Debbie Lueders,<br />

Jeff Danielson,<br />

Cheryl Monroe, Chris<br />

Danielson and LeAnne<br />

Danielson; siblings, William<br />

Andrini, Robert<br />

Andrini, Brenda Miotke,<br />

Jim Andrini; eight grandchildren;<br />

one great-granddaughter<br />

and many nieces<br />

and nephews.<br />

held on Monday, Oct. 1st<br />
