On august 25, 2018, Ms. Nina, Ms. Farah
and Ms. Nani attended Bahasa Indonesia
Workshop that held by Mentari Group in
Peninsula Hotel, Jakarta.
Mrs. Felicia Nuradi Utorodewo began
her discussion in connecting between
Indonesian Language and the 2013
curriculum. The Indonesian Language
is positioned as the carrier language of
knowledge where the 2013 curriculum
applies an integrated thematic concept
that enables the Indonesian Language
as an introduction to the interpersonal
subject. How important Indonesian
Language is namely to ask questions,
arouse curiosity, and provide opportunities
to explore information continuously.
Equipping students with 21st century
competencies such as: critical thinking,
creativity, communication, and
collaboration, other skills that are mutually
supportive are needed, including: literacy
skills that must be mastered by students
and the quality of characters that must
be fostered early as the foundation of the
whole human character.
The next speakers on Menjadi Indonesia
Workshop were Mrs. Rusiati Yo and
Mrs. Indra Widhi Susanti. We carry out
various activities from Buku Menjadi
Indonesia, by each component: listening,
reading, speaking, writing and we wrote a
reflection. Speakers and participants also
shared ideas and asked questions.
