CONGRATULATIONS TO the Linwood
Keas on their haul of Canterbury Rugby
League awards (see page 14).
The club had a stellar season with the its
premier team winning the Pat Smith Trophy
grand-final for the third time in a row.
The club’s women’s side won their championship too.
The Keas also took out a number of individual awards from
Sui Pauaraisa, who made her New Zealand and Warriors
women’s debut this season, her teammate Cassie Siataga and
Bulls player of the year Alex Todd.
Hana Kakoi was named president of the year.
The cups and trophies they picked are all named after memorable
Not bad sort of a look in the trophy cabinet at home.
