The Parks, Trails and Recreation<br />
department is looking to improve the<br />
world, or at least Greenwood Village,<br />
one restroom at a time. In an effort to<br />
improve the experience of using<br />
Greenwood Village parks and trails,<br />
plans are underway to replace the<br />
portable restrooms with plumbed<br />
restrooms at Castlewood Park and the<br />
High Line Canal trailhead parking lot<br />
off Orchard Road near Colorado<br />
Boulevard. A public meeting is<br />
scheduled on Thursday, <strong>November</strong> 15,<br />
2018 from 6:30-7:30 p.m in the<br />
Community Room at Greenwood<br />
Village City Hall for citizens to<br />
provide input on the preliminary<br />
designs for the proposed plumbed<br />
restrooms. The Village was awarded<br />
partnering funds for both projects<br />
from Arapahoe County Open Spaces.<br />
Construction is planned for both<br />
restrooms in Spring 2019.<br />

SILO PARK PLAYGROUND<br />

Village residents joined Parks, Trails and Recreation<br />
staff at Silo Park last summer to give input on the<br />
new playground planned for Silo Park. Join us for a<br />
public meeting on Tuesday, <strong>November</strong> 20, 2018,<br />
from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the Community Room at<br />
Greenwood Village City Hall, 6060 South Quebec<br />
Street to view images of the proposed replacement<br />
playground and give your final suggestions.<br />
Construction is planned for this winter in time for a<br />
grand reopening in the spring.<br />
