stay on the island, we’ve compiled a list of activities to engage<br />
in during your stay.<br />
Cayo zapatilla<br />
Son consideradas como las islas más bellas del archipiélago. La vista desde<br />
el cielo de esos dos cayos parece una huella, de ahí proviene su nombre.<br />
Los cayos son pequeños y se puede dar toda la vuelta caminando en tan solo 45<br />
min. Podrá disfrutar de unas hermosas playas de arena blanca donde relajarse,<br />
de unos arrecifes fabulosos y, según la temporada, ver el nacimiento de tres<br />
tipos de tortugas marinas en extinción: baula, verde y carey.Considered one of<br />

Ubicada en la isla de Bastimentos, Red Frog (Rana Roja) toma su nombre<br />
de ese pequeño anfibio venenoso; ya que su hábitat es la selva que bordea<br />
la playa. No tiene nada que temer mientras no la toque. La playa de arena<br />
blanca es espectacular y es también apreciada por los surfistas debido a<br />
sus excelentes olas. Para llegar a la playa deberán cruzar una zona privada y<br />
por lo tanto abonar un derecho de entrada. Hay restaurantes en la playa.<br />
Located on the island of Bastimentos, Red Frog (« Rana Roja ») is named<br />
after a small venomous anphibian of the same moniker. If you happen to see<br />
one, don’t worry ! If you don’t touch it, then it won’t hurt you. Either<br />
way, don’t let that keep you from experiencing the spectacular white sand<br />
beach and waves only a surfur could appreciate. There is a small fee for<br />
beach access, which is connected to a private park. There is also on-site<br />
catering for your post-surf meal break or a leisurely lunch by the sea.<br />
Bocas del Toro es el hogar de una comunidad de delfines Nariz de Botella. La<br />
bahía de Bocatorito, con sus aguas tranquilas ricas en peces y medusas; es<br />
el lugar perfecto para que las crías de delfines crezcan sin peligros.<br />
La bahía se encuentra a 20 min en lancha desde Bocas.<br />
In Bocas del Toro, you can spot a semi permanent population of dophins.<br />
Laguna Bocarito Bay, with its calm waters and abundant small fish, seems<br />
to be the perfect place for baby dolphins to safely grow. To get there,<br />
you have to take a 20 minute boat ride from Bocas.<br />

Playa Estrella<br />
Se refiere a menudo a esta playa como la más linda del archipiélago.<br />
Playa de las Estrellas con sus aguas tranquilas y cristalinas es la<br />
más adecuada para los niños. Su nombre proviene de la abundancia de<br />
estrellas de mar, las cuales, lamentablemente, se están extinguiendo<br />
por culpa de la cantidad de turistas que las sacan del agua para<br />
sacarse fotos, sin saber que eso las mata. Se puede llegar por taxi o<br />
minibús hasta Boca del Drago, luego puede caminar (20 min) o tomar una<br />
lancha (5 min). Los puestecitos de comida que se encuentran en la playa<br />
ofrecen langosta y pescado al mejor precio de la isla.Often cited as<br />
the most beautiful beach of the archipelago, Playa de las Estrellas<br />
(« Beach of the Stars ») has the calmest, crystal clear water and is<br />
most suitable for children. Named Playa Estrella for its abundance of<br />
red starfish, they are now on the verge of extinction because tourists<br />
take them out of the water for photos and selfies, without realizing<br />
that they die out of water! You can get there via taxi or bus,which<br />
you take until reaching Boca del Drago, then boat taxi (5mn) or walk<br />
(20mn). Local restaurants offer dining on the beach, with well-priced<br />
lobster or grilled fish.<br />
