2017-2018 Annual Report

In reflecting on all we have accomplished together over the past year, I am
humbled by the enthusiasm for our work, and immeasurably grateful for the
role our donors, members, and partners have played in supporting it.
In the coming year, we are especially focused on providing and improving
entry to all we do at Portland Stage by establishing stronger connections
within our community. We are committed to building a more robust and
diverse audience base, and we hope that commitment is evident in the
preceding pages of this report.
Portland Stage provides a safe place to come together for shared
experiences, offering fresh perspective and building connections in an
increasingly polarized world. Today, more than ever, I understand our
responsibility as a cultural institution to incite meaningful change, and your
continued support allows us to fulfill that responsibility.
