“A Service of Light”
remembering our departed loved-ones
On the Sunday 4th November at 3pm.at St Thomas’ Church, we will be holding our
“Service of Light” for our faithful departed. This is a service that has grown in value not
only for our church members but for the many families that we have helped during the
difficult days of the death of a loved-one and during the bereavement that follows.
It is a peaceful, quiet and prayerful service in which we give thanks to God for the lives of
our departed loved-ones and have time to reflect on our past and future. There is an
opportunity to join with other members of the congregation in lighting a candle in memory
of your loved-ones and as we do this their names are read aloud.
You are warmly invited to stay for refreshments after the service.
