2018 YEARBOOK<br />
UNDER 13/2 GIRLS<br />
This year, the U13/2 Girls team was made up of<br />
a mix of experienced players, and players who<br />
had never touched a football. From the very<br />
first game, they worked cohesively together to<br />
understand each other’s strengths and areas<br />
that needed development. The season taught<br />
us that 'Football does not create character, it<br />
reveals it'<br />
The team had a great season, always putting<br />
100% effort into both their game and<br />
their comradeship. Their efforts were rewarded<br />
by finishing second on the table, and, making it<br />
all the way to the grand final. While a win was<br />
not meant to be, the girls put on an excellent<br />
show of the spirit, determination and good<br />
sportsmanship that got them there in the first<br />
place.<br />
Our group of young ladies should be extremely<br />
proud of their achievement this year!<br />
