A soft but penetrating pressure massage (with the palms of the

Dipak Ghimire is originally from Nepal, where

Whether it be in the afternoon or in the evening 

– tobogganing in Wagrain-Kleinarl offers 

a lot of fun for the whole family. A stop on a 

mountain hut is also necessary when tobogganing! 

You can borrow the Toboggans from 

the village. 

CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING 

The „Tauernloipe“ is the highlight of crosscountry 

skiing in Salzburg. From Wagrain 

through the whole Salzburger sport world, extends 

the easy to moderately difficult crosscountry 

ski trail of 50 kilometers. Friends of 

the cross-country skiing go with the gondola, 

„Rote 8er“ to the village and get directly onto 

the trail. It goes through easy – varied areas.

WAGRAINI’S Winterworld 

At the middle station of the „Rote 8er“ you will 

find Wagraini’s winter world. There, you can have 

your first experience on skis. The magic carpet 

will help you get started and then you can try 

some easy slopes on your own. You will have a 

lot of fun „tubing“ with inner tubes. 

If you are taking up snowboarding, then you can 

improve your jumping skills at the jump training 

area in the newly built snow park. Tuesdays and 

Thursdays, you can party with the other kids and 

locals at the kids festival or barbeque party.

The Wagrain skiing region is situated at the heart of the Ski Amadè region with 270 cable cars and 

860 kilometers of slopes. This is Austria’s largest skiing network. Modern gondola lifts and chairlifts, 

a wide range of slopes and excellent restaurants make our skiing region unique. All the slopes and 

lifts can be reached using a single ski pass and reasonably priced packages, making it possible to 

enjoy the best of winter fun from the beginning of December until April.

EDELWEISS EVENT TIPPS 

ARRIVAL 

By car Via the A10 Tauern motorway, take the 

Flachau exit (exit 66) and from there take the 

B163 to Wagrain. Approx. 150m after the Wagrain 

place-name sign, on the left-hand side, there is a 

signposted, well-maintained access road to the 

Weberlandl district and the Naturhotel Edelweiss. 

By train The nearest train station is at St. Johann im 

Pongau, around 9 km away. 

By air Salzburg airport (70 km) can be reached by 

car in 50 minutes. Munich airport (240 km) can be 

reached in around 2,5 hours. 

Or by helicopter? Helicopter transfers from 

Munich or Salzburg airports, landing directly at the 

hotel. Prices available upon request.
