Wagrain (3km) with the Joseph Mohr exhibition
(writer of the poem, „Silent night, holy
night“) and visit to the memorial of the famous
local poet of Wagrain: Karl Heinrich Waggerl.
SALT MINE IN BAD DÜRRNBERG:
Hallein (60km); mine railway, mine sliders, raft
trip over the underground salt mine, entry to
the celtic village, the celtic museum and to
the Silent Night museum in Hallein.

poet wrote probably the most famous song in the
world – „Silent Night – Holy Night“. He lived and
died in Wagrain.
