Nayati launches eICUs
for critical care
Nayati Healthcare has introduced digital
intensive care units (eICU) at Nayati
Medicity at Mathura. The launch of the
state-of-the-art technology is aimed
at bringing the world’s most advanced
healthcare services and technology to
the people in tier 2 and tier 3 cities, the
hospital said
Nayati Medicity has adopted a secured,
cloud-based model which uses minimal
infrastructure cost, making it affordable to
the people in tier 2 and tier 3 cities.
The technology, introduced in
collaboration with Cohere Med, a healthtech
company based in Bangalore, will
allow clinicians to monitor multiple critically
ill patients remotely.
The newly installed system uses
Cohere Med’s Critibot, a bot built to serve
customized information for every doctor.
The goal is to optimize clinical expertise
and facilitate 24-hour-a-daycare by ICU
caregivers, according to hospital officials.
HCG introduces new-gen
tomotherapy
HealthCare Global Enterprises Ltd
(HCG) has introduced Radixact X9
– the new generation tomotherapy to
treat cancer patients.
The Radixact System is being used
at HCG EKO cancer centre, a partnership
between HCG and EKO X-Ray & Imaging
Institute, a premier institute of diagnosis
from Kolkata,
The inbuilt CT scan imaging in a
Radixact system allows treating bone
marrow transplant patients accurately
to the complete bone marrow instead
of exposing all internal organs. One of
the unique advantages of the system is
treating children with medulloblastoma.
In this case, the child can comfortably
lie on his/her back and the radiation
beam treats more than three times the
length possible in regular machines in
a single movement of the treatment
couch. Radixact is both versatile and
comprehensive.
Introduction of the Radixact in
Kolkata is to ensure that advanced care
is accessible to the patients of West
Bengal and the neighboring states so
that they don’t have to travel to far
off locations, away from their home
and close ones for cancer treatment,
according to HCG officials.
HCG, which specialises in cancer
care, was among the first in India to
introduce the TomoH System, a fully
integrated 3D conformal and imageguided
intensity-modulated radiation
therapy (IG-IMRT) system, and the
CyberKnife Robotic Radiosurgery
System, technology designed to deliver
stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) and
stereotactic body radiation therapy
(SBRT).

Review Corporation (SRC) of USA and
has been certified as one of the leading
