Holiday Card Contest providing
us plenty in the way
of creative and humorous
entries this year, receiving
doesn’t seem too bad, either.
So, we’re going to go
ahead and call it a wash.
We’re also going to announce
the winners of the
contest ... right now.
The winner of the Best
in Show category is Eileen
Dominguez, of Homer Glen.
Dominguez wowed the staff
with an entry that was halfcard,
half-diorama, with the
cardboard unfolding and
standing perfectly to create a
beautiful, multi-layered winter
scene.
For Dominguez’s efforts,
she received a $25
gift certificate for Rubi

passes, each good for free
