clacking, the phones at last
blare
Panic sets in, with the
deadline soon there
The photos are captioned,
tweaks to the masthead
While cover designs
dance, in Nancy Burgan’s
head
Jeff in his sweater,
Heather’s with a cap
The tired drink coffee; it’s
winter, no frap
Content springs to servers,
after ad list approval
The space this week,
absolutely brutal
But with the room that’s
left, some quick words, I’m
stuck
