our views of technology <strong>in</strong> the classroom. Technological<br />

advancements enlightened and conquered. It broadened<br />

possibilities and accelerated achievements. Major<br />

technological <strong>in</strong>novations are evident <strong>in</strong> various aspects of<br />

our lives. Today, voice-controlled assistants help <strong>in</strong> sett<strong>in</strong>g<br />

clocks and adjust<strong>in</strong>g home thermostats, smartphone<br />

applications allow shar<strong>in</strong>g images across the globe <strong>in</strong> an<br />

<strong>in</strong>stant, and artificial Intelligence guide driv<strong>in</strong>g, predict<br />

purchas<strong>in</strong>g habits, and provide real-time traffic updates.<br />

Big data analytics is fundamentally shap<strong>in</strong>g our lives.<br />

Smart cities use <strong>in</strong>formation and communication<br />

technologies to improve efficiency of operations and<br />

services.<br />

This same technology is alter<strong>in</strong>g teach<strong>in</strong>g as we know it,<br />

and 3D models allow students to visually observe the object<br />

of study, <strong>in</strong>teract with processes, components, and analyze<br />

the fundamentals of the <strong>in</strong>vestigated object.<br />

to enhance student performance. <strong>The</strong> teacher becomes a<br />

guide and coach steer<strong>in</strong>g students through the learn<strong>in</strong>g<br />

process while provid<strong>in</strong>g support at the appropriate time.<br />

Education today extends beyond bricks and mortar.<br />

Technology offers excit<strong>in</strong>g opportunity for life-long<br />

learn<strong>in</strong>g, a keystone of a progressive society. It empowers<br />

<strong>in</strong>dividuals to acquire new skills thus build<strong>in</strong>g capacity and<br />
