Greetings from <strong>Boker</strong> USA!<br />
2018 has been an incredibly<br />
good year for many companies,<br />
<strong>and</strong> we are happy to say that<br />
it has been good for us here<br />
at <strong>Boker</strong> USA as well. Looking<br />
forward, the current tariff<br />
discussions are creating<br />
uncertainties internationally,<br />
at this time, we are pleased to<br />
only be announcing ten percent<br />
price increases on China made<br />
goods for <strong>2019</strong> (this is subject<br />
to change if agreements are not<br />
firmed up prior to the end of the<br />
90 day negotiation period). As<br />
<strong>Boker</strong> produces products in many<br />
parts of the world already, we<br />
are well positioned to move<br />
production to the highest quality<br />
<strong>and</strong> best value partners.<br />
<strong>2019</strong> will be our 150th year in<br />
business <strong>and</strong> we are excited to<br />
be celebrating this milestone that<br />
most companies never achieve.<br />
As part of the celebration of this<br />
historic year, we have created<br />
ten beautiful 150th Anniversary<br />
pieces. These pieces are limited<br />
to 150 units worldwide, so please<br />
check them out <strong>and</strong> act fast if<br />
you are interested, as they will<br />
not last long. Please see these<br />
items on pages 6-7.<br />
As most of our valued partners<br />
are aware, <strong>Boker</strong> has been<br />
making great strides in<br />
stabilizing the pricing of our core<br />
product lines. <strong>2019</strong> will see the<br />
introduction of a comprehensive<br />
MAP Program. This decision was<br />
not taken lightly as it is a great<br />
change for <strong>Boker</strong> - thank you<br />
for your patience while we work<br />
through this together, as the long<br />
term benefits will help all of our<br />
valued partners.<br />
<strong>2019</strong> brings with it some very<br />
exciting times in the history of<br />
<strong>Boker</strong> - again 150 years! We<br />
are excited to announce the first<br />
OTF (Out The Front) lineup of<br />
automatic knives <strong>Boker</strong> USA has<br />
ever offered (shown on page 63).<br />
These knives are produced as a<br />
collaborative project with Hogue.<br />
Their extensive experience with<br />
production has resulted in a great<br />
addition to our line. We are also<br />
happy to be adding a complete<br />
line of diving knives through<br />
an agreement with MAC Knives.<br />
Please check these out, on pages<br />
116-117. There are so many<br />
great new additions to the line<br />
this year, I encourage you to look<br />
closely <strong>and</strong> you will certainly find<br />
what you are looking for. Thank<br />
