St. Joseph School is a
Catholic school that serves
children from 2 years old
through eighth grade. Our
rich curriculum integrates

of Education, St. Joseph
was established in 1850
and has over 160 years of
Catholic tradition on the

With a philosophy focused
on a strong relationship
between child,
faculty and family, St. Joseph
varies instructional

child’s spiritual, intellectual,
emotional, physical
and social development.
Students participate in a
full academic curriculum
that includes writing, reading,
mathematics, social
studies, science, Spanish,
physical education, art,
music and religion.
The purpose of the early
childhood program at St.
Joseph is to begin planting
the educational seeds in
the lives of young children,
thus beginning the formal
educational process. Once
in middle school, our primary
goal is to prepare
students to academically,
socially, and spiritually
excel and succeed in High
School. St. Joseph has
established valuable relationships
with local High
Schools to ensure that each
student is fully prepared
for a smooth transition.
Curriculum is designed to
provide advanced placement
into High School
programs. Our students
consistently score well
above the national average
in all categories on standardized
tests.
St. Joseph School also
believes in the essential
partnership between home
and school and recognizes
that the family is the primary
educator and faith
model for children. Together,
parents and faculty
collaborate in the development
of the whole child
and there are ample opportunities
for parents to participate
in vital school programs
such as the School
Board and Parish-School
Organization (PSO). St.
Joseph School students
develop habits and a thirst
for learning that stays with
them for their entire lives.
