factory, Connex Offsite has recently invested in a
new Howick steel cold roll-forming machine. This
has made steel framing possible, in favour of the
more cumbersome and heavy welded box
sections. The big advantage of this process is
sizeable weight reduction and the ability to apply
more flexibility in design without any loss of
structural integrity.
Regardless of the uncertainty that overshadows
Brexit, main contractors who secure their order
before April 2019 can secure their cost and
programme for the length of the scheme.
Bathroom pods are bespoke in design and
specification to each project. Connex offer the
service of producing prototypes for the approval
of the client before entering into mass
manufacturing.
