“It’s really very simple,
and kindness is free.”
becoming a kindness ambassador
can fill out an application on the
Catching Kindness Program’s blog
site. The job of each ambassador is
to carry Catching Kindness bracelets
(or other Catching Kindness products,
such as stickers) around to hand out
when they see people being kind.
Then they’ll need to take lots of
pictures and post on social media,
telling the world of their kindness
story, making sure to tag the
Catching Kindness team.
The message of the Catching
Kindness Program is taking off and
Ashley is getting invitations to speak
at conferences. “I’ll be speaking at a
big taekwondo conference in New
Orleans soon, and I look forward to
spreading the word to other groups
in the future.”
There are big plans ahead for the
Catching Kindness Project, according
to Ashley. “We will be applying for
our non-profit status, and growing
our footprint across the country. I
feel like we’ve just scratched the tip
of the iceberg and this project is
going to be bigger than we could
ever imagine!”
All of the young women involved
donate their time and money to the
project. “It’s really very simple, and
kindness is free,” says Ashley. At a
time in history when the world needs
more kindness, it’s good to know
there are people who cherish it and
want to share it with others.
Be kind. l
