Ciao Lugano!<br />
It's been a long time since 1855 when the Ciani brothers built<br />
the Hotel Du Parc – Lugano's first hotel – which was the start of<br />
tourism in Lugano. The city on the lake now has a population<br />
of 68,000, an international university, IT companies, museums,<br />
shops and restaurants. It is also Switzerland's third largest<br />
financial centre, but rather different from Zurich, Geneva or<br />
Bern, as here you can feel for yourself its Mediterranean culture!<br />
