The Cotswold School News PTA Quiz Night 2019 6
The Cotswold School News Harry Potter Day 2019 This year’s magical and literary visit to the world of Harry Potter was again hugely popular and successful. Once the captains of the quiz teams had been ‘sorted’ into their Hogwarts houses, several of the Student Librarians acted a scene from The Order of the Phoenix which was greeted with well deserved applause. Then it was time for the fiendishly challenging Hogwarts themed quiz, which tests the students’ knowledge of J.K. Rowling’s books. This year was the first year that the winning team was presented with a trophy. The winning house this year was Ravenclaw, captained by our very own Mr. Lord with student, Huw Parry and others demonstrating a formidable knowledge of the Harry Potter world. The Student Librarians, and in particular Milly Loving baked some wondrous cakes which were sold to raise money for J.K. Rowling’s charity, LUMOS. 7
