MARKETING CONSULTANCY<br />
In <strong>2018</strong>, we continued to provide marketing<br />
consultancy services for a range of clients in the<br />
private and public sectors.<br />
Anderton Boat Lift<br />
For the third consecutive year, Anderton Boat<br />
Lift, managed by the Canal & River Trust,<br />
outsourced their entire marketing resource<br />
to us. We are responsible for the planning,<br />
delivery, reporting and management of the<br />
marketing activity with campaigns delivered via<br />
various channels inc. social media, digital, print,<br />
direct mail, radio and PR. We have also<br />
continued to sell Anderton Boat<br />
Lift’s event tickets through our<br />
Visit <strong>Cheshire</strong> digitickets<br />
platform with great<br />
success; In <strong>2018</strong> we<br />
sold 1,760 tickets<br />
for the Firework<br />
Spectacular (113%<br />
more than 2017)<br />
and 2,054 tickets for<br />
the Santa Cruises.<br />
Lion Salt Works Museum<br />
The Lion Salt Works Museum, run by <strong>Cheshire</strong><br />
West & Chester Council has renewed its PR<br />
contract with us for the fourth consecutive<br />
year. <strong>Marketing</strong> <strong>Cheshire</strong>’s PR programme<br />
provides fresh, engaging and high-quality<br />
content to support the Museum’s thriving activity<br />
programme. This is delivered through press<br />
releases, briefings, press trips, filming and<br />
photography. The PR team add value with their<br />
creative ideas, extensive heritage and attraction<br />
expertise and close working knowledge of the<br />
client’s requirements.<br />
National Waterways Museum<br />
Following on from the success of 2017, the<br />
National Waterways Museum Ellesmere Port,<br />
also managed by the Canal & River Trust,<br />
renewed their social media marketing contract<br />
with <strong>Marketing</strong> <strong>Cheshire</strong>. This is comprised of<br />
quarterly planning, delivery and management<br />
of social media campaigns using targeted<br />
ads and PPC to ensure messages reach the<br />
right audience. In just nine months, we have<br />
succeeded in growing the museum’s Facebook<br />
audience by 13% and Twitter audience by 15%.<br />
