Full House Theatre present Jack & The Beanstalk,<br />

a hilarious new show offering a new perspective<br />

on a traditional tale for today’s families. Featuring<br />

mesmerising giant puppetry, wonderful characters and a<br />

gripping story, it’s guaranteed that all will be entertained,<br />

Ballet Central returns to the theatre with another<br />

exceptional range of repertoire. A chance to see young<br />

dance graduates on the cusp of their professional<br />

careers perform a varied programme of classical ballet<br />

and contemporary dance theatre, Thu 11 Apr.<br />

As part of the theatre’s 200th Anniversary celebrations,<br />

Sir Ian McKellen will be appearing on the stage as part<br />

of his 80th birthday celebration solo tour. Performing<br />

Tolkien, Shakespeare and others, Fri 12 & Sat 13 Apr.<br />

(Both performances are sold out, Waiting list only).<br />

Well-loved stage and screen actor Timothy West CBE<br />

returns to the theatre along with his son, respected<br />

RSC actor, film and television star Samuel West, both of<br />

whom will talk about their lives and careers in an intimate<br />

Company presents Alan Bennett’s delightful<br />

and witty adaptation of The Wind in the<br />

A group of fundraisers are walking 200 miles<br />

to raise funds for the theatre with the 200 for<br />

200 Sponsored Walk. You can get involved<br />

and walk any part of the route but in particular<br />

you are invited to join the final day of the<br />

walk either from Knettishall to Theatre Royal<br />

(15 miles) or from Ixworth to Theatre Royal (8 miles),<br />

both of which will end with a welcome party for all the<br />

walkers, Mon 22 Apr (visit www.200for200.org for more<br />

LAMDA presents a pair of shows featuring their students<br />

both on and off the stage. She Stoops to Conquer is a<br />

delightful flurry of trifling confusions, misunderstandings<br />

and eavesdroppings, Tue 23 & Wed 24 Apr; and The<br />

Cherry Orchard is a poignant recreation of Anton<br />

Chekov’s last and greatest play about shifting social<br />

orders, Thu 25 & Fri 26 Apr.<br />
