Instructional Tennis<br />

<strong>East</strong> <strong>Brunswick</strong> Recreation is excited to announce a partnership with 15<br />

Love Tennis to provide eight weeks of instructional tennis lessons for youth<br />

ages 4-13. All classes will be held at the tennis courts in Community Park, 350<br />

Dunhams Corner Road, beginning the week of April 16. For specific dates, times,<br />

class schedule, and to register call 15 Love Tennis at 862-754-6057 or go to<br />

www.15lovetennis.com. Note: registration is through 15 Love Tennis only;<br />

not through <strong>East</strong> <strong>Brunswick</strong> Recreation.<br />

PeeWee Tennis (4-6 year olds) teaches basics through fun games.<br />

Hot-ShotsTennis (7-9 year olds) works on creating a sound foundation of skills.<br />

Junior Tennis (10-13 year olds) focuses on strategy, analysis, and simulated<br />

match experience.<br />

RESERVATIONS for ball fields/picnic facilities can be made after January 1 for the 2012 spring/summer season.<br />

Residents and nonresidents can reserve these facilities with fees assessed. For more information or to reserve a facility<br />

BALL FIELDS - Many of <strong>East</strong> <strong>Brunswick</strong>’s ball fields are used for league play from September to June; however, when<br />

the fields are available permits are issued for use to the public. Similarly, the <strong>East</strong> <strong>Brunswick</strong> Board of Education’s ball<br />

fields are scheduled for club, league, and recreation programs; limited public usage is available by permit or on a first<br />

come, first served basis.<br />

PARK/PICNIC FACILITIES – <strong>East</strong> <strong>Brunswick</strong> has 17 developed parks. Eight (8) of these parks have picnic facilities<br />

and two (2) are equipped with tables and grills: Bicentennial and Welsh. Permits are issued for the use of these parks<br />

to groups limited to forty (40) people. Crystal Springs Family Aquatic Center also has picnic facilities available on a first<br />

come, first served basis during the operating season. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited in all parks.<br />

EAST BRUNSWICK CIVIC CENTER, located at<br />

1 Jean Walling Civic Center, is home to Volunteer<br />

Park, Veterans Park, the Municipal Pond, and the<br />

Community Garden. The area offers a gazebo, fishing,<br />

open natural space, a picnic area, parking, and<br />

restrooms. Residents are often seen walking or biking<br />

around the pond, tending their garden, sitting in<br />

reflection at the Veterans Monument, or basking in the<br />

bright sunshine of Volunteer Park. The grounds are<br />

meticulously groomed and maintained by our Parks<br />

employees year round. Please stop by and enjoy!<br />
