Editorial Note
After the ambitious launch of the First issue with the stupendous success here I am once again
with the second issue. A new form, new spirit and with a refreshing content this is what the
second issue is all about. The diverse topics in this magazine are not only interesting but also give
an insight into the talented staff and students we have among us. It is a collective effort to reflect
understanding and individuality of each member who contributed to this magazine. There are
many articles which talk about different topics like Activities of various clubs, education,
literature and much more
While I was leafing through the first issue I was exceedingly proud of the amazing master piece
that was crafted and designed by the staff and the students. The second issue is equally amazing
in its design and content. It aims to achieve cohesiveness and to constructs a solid base for the
future issues.
The second issue aims to promote and offer all that is essential to reflect the potentials of the
students and give them a chance to express their creativity and thoughts. With this sole aim the
magazine is going to demonstrate the overall development not only in academics but other
activities as well by featuring a young talent in each issue. In this issue i present you a young
painter whose amazing work attracted my attention as you see it in the magazine and I am sure
you will definitely agree with me. I wish all the success in her future endeavours. While working
on this issue I came across many people who are not only talented but also passionate about
their work. I am glad that I was given such an opportunity and I am thankful for that.
Courage, motivation, determination, creativity, enthusiasm and hard work that’s what
symbolize English department headed by Dr. Fawzia Harshan. She infuses new look and spirit
into the dept transforming every member of the staff and student into amazing network of
individuals working hard to achieve nothing less than the best pushing our limits to reach the
high standards set.
I must say once again she was there to support, encourage and guide us. Her rock solid support
gave all of us much need encouragement and motivation. She believed in us and gave us the
chance to create our own magazine without her it wouldn’t have been possible.
Working with her made me experience what it feels to be around a talented and creative person.
Under her able guidance the dept is achieving success and venturing into new areas of interest to
bring success and excellence to the dept. I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to Dr.
Fawziah Harshan, all the members of the staff and students for their relentless support to
promote and develop the magazine.
