Families are well catered for with plenty of fun activities for the children, while for couples it’s a great place to relax and take time out, she says. “Air New Zealand and Fiji Airways offer direct flights, so it’s only four hours away. It really is the ultimate getaway, especially during the colder months here.” For those that want to visit several destinations in one trip, cruising is becoming one of the most sought-after ways to see the world, Paula says, with cruises available to suit every budget and itinerary. “A lot of people start with a South Pacific cruise, but we would encourage them to go further. There are some great ships available now with wonderful cruises scheduled for 2020 and 2021.
