Whitney Smith and Joe Ardagna rock. In simple terms they are the<br />
quintessential dynamic duo that have mastered the art of their<br />
craft. Their craft is hair coloring, styling, cutting and hair extensions.<br />
But the byproduct is simplicity and grace – kindness and<br />
passion.<br />
That is why clients flock to their salon that is a world<br />
away from the cosmic commotion of <strong>Atlantic</strong> <strong>Ave</strong>nue. It was<br />
built on faith that their clients would follow them from downtown<br />
Delray to a homey spot on Federal Highway. The parking is<br />
abundant, and time stands still in this cottage of creativity that<br />
honors and shapes beauty.<br />
Both Whitney and Joe are master stylists and colorists with a<br />
passion for their work, and their clients. They also support other<br />
businesses in the community and recently did a makeover for<br />
Traci Daniel. It included a fashion makeover from Mobile Boutique,<br />
“Luxuria Mobile” owned by client Janey Bass.<br />
Bass is happy that Whitney and Joe enjoy helping others who<br />
fly in their beauty orbit. She’s been getting her hair cut and colored<br />
by Joe for years and adores both Joe and Whitney. “I have<br />
to be on target with trends, color and cut because my customers<br />
are fashion forward and stylish. I have to uphold a certain image<br />
from head to toe.”<br />
Traci Daniel has been going to Whitney for 11 years and enjoys<br />
the sense of family and camaraderie at Shears of Faith. “The<br />
dynamics at Shears of Faith is fantastic. Whitney makes my long<br />
blond hair look great with balayage highlights. She also gives me<br />
helpful tips on keeping my hair looking great and suggests products<br />
for me to use.”<br />

Everyone loves Whitney. And it’s easy to see why. The natural<br />
beauty, who was destined to cut, color and style hair since she was in<br />
high school, sees everyone as a child of God. She is grateful for what<br />
she has accomplished and what has been given to her.<br />
Not only do her clients love her, but Joe has an aerial view of Whitney’s<br />
inner core. “Whitney is the most amazing lady I have ever met. Her<br />
work ethic is flawless, her talent and devotion to her clients is unsurpassed.<br />
I have never seen anyone more in tune with life and business.”<br />
A lot has happened in the two years that Shears of Faith has<br />
opened. They now have eight employees, five stylists and three as-<br />
