The Inside Scoop from a current parent…
We chose Aldro because quite honestly there is no
other school like it! We have twin boys who wear
their hearts on their sleeves and we quickly realised
they were going to be allowed to be themselves at
Aldro. Tom and Harry are sport mad and so the
standard of sport at Aldro was also a key factor.
Teachers are very quick to notice when children
are not feeling confident and are able to reassure
them and get them back on track. Aldro parents are
a really friendly bunch and I am making lifelong
friends. There are some really popular parent events
like the Quiz Night and Summer Party as well
as family events. If you are looking for a school
tailored for boys where boys are allowed to be boys
then look no further!
As parents, we love:
The beautiful surroundings and space that
the boys have to develop.
The homely feel within school.
The approachable nature of both academic
and pastoral care staff.
Our children love:
The delicious food! In particular the sticky
toffee pudding.
The Sports – Rugby, Football and Cricket.
Chapel Choir.
HEADS UP
“To strive for academic excellence, seek to
develop a love of learning for boys within
a broad and contemporary curriculum
that offers a wide range of opportunities
for extra-curricular activities. Develop,
coach, mentor and train a committed and highly motivated
staff team.” Chris Carlier, Headmaster
