The Inside Scoop from a current parent…
On first visiting Rendcomb, we were completely
won over by the beautiful setting, the warm,
friendly and relaxed atmosphere and the evident
happiness of the children. Over the past nine
years as parents there, it has proved to be the
perfect school for both our children who have very
different personalities and approaches to learning.
A strong sense of community and friendship is
encouraged across the year groups, creating a safe
and friendly environment, allowing each child to
express their individuality and independence. The
teachers completely engage with each child and
not only support academic achievements but also
a variety of diverse extra-curricular activities from
Forest School to cookery, sports and art clubs.
As parents, we love:
The sense of community between the teachers,
children, parents and the local community.
The passion they have for passing on their
knowledge and for teaching the whole child.
The setting is simply stunning and enables the
children to explore the outdoor environment in
an extraordinary way.
Our children love:
The fact that even in a small school they both
have a great group of friends.
The every day feast and match teas are amazing!
The teachers who give the children a sense
of security to be able to express themselves.
HEADS UP
“At Rendcomb College, pupils are free
to be themselves and free to take on
big challenges because they know that
to ‘FAIL’ is only the ‘First Attempt
In Learning.’ Pupils are thoughtful,
adventurous and academically ambitious.”
Rob Jones, Headmaster
