Erich Solomon strives
to build simple, functional
acoustic archtop
guitars that inspire their
owners. Erich is focused
on building his “Phidelity”
series of guitars,
which utilize Phi or the
golden section or divine
proportion in their
design. They have a
broader tonal range and
are more dynamic than
most traditional archtop
guitars. Proudly made
in the United States of
America, by hand, one at a time, with love and attention
to detail. Erich is exceptionally proud of the fact that over
70% of his current back order is from repeat customers
and is very thankful for their loyalty and friendship.
Bill has designed, built and
repaired guitars, along with other
stringed instruments, for 35
years. He consistently produces
an optimal sound with each
instrument using the best quality
wood available. Bill builds four
original designs: the Bravado,
Crescendo, Forte, and the
Staccato. All guitars are custom
made to suit the individual’s
playing style with a wide variety
of options, ranging from the
elegantly simple to the tastefully
ornate.

Turnstone Guitar Company is based in Surrey, England.
Founded by luthier Rosie Heydenrych, it is a single-luthier
workshop handcrafting customized fine steel string acoustic
guitars. For Rosie, handcrafting highly responsive, beautiful
guitars is a labour of love and a true passion. As well as
working with exquisite traditional timbers, Rosie also has an
interest in English grown timbers and offers a model made
entirely out of English wood.
Creating a guitar with Rosie is a highly personal experience.
It is her hope that your bespoke instrument will provide you
with years of pleasure and creative inspiration.

“I began studying under Mr.
Yukinobu Chai and learned the
basics on classical guitar and
violin building for six years. Then,
in 1990, I decided to set up
business on my own under the
brand name of “Sugi Craft” as an
acoustic guitar builder. In 2007,
I made a fresh start by changing
my brand name to Sugita Kenji in
order to put more of myself into
the whole thing and to reflect my
dedication to my guitars deeper
than before. With “Carrera” as my
main model, I promised myself
to make further efforts in paying
meticulous attention to details.”
Our guitar and music
stands are designed and
handcrafted as fine furniture.
Structurally sound and
aesthetically beautiful, they
enhance and complement
your instrument. The finest
hardwoods, both domestic
and exotic are stocked
in our shop. Add options
such as inlay and binding
accents and choose from
several metal and leather
colors to create your own
custom guitar or music
stand. Purchased by musicians,
luthiers, architects
and guitar collectors, our
artistic design and craftsmanship
is unsurpassed.

The art of lutherie is a lifelong passion that combines my
background in Fine Arts and my love for music.”
Joe Veillette has been working
with different tonalities and
string configurations since 1972.
After graduating architectural
school and working as a
designer, Joe studied Lutherie
with Michael Gurian. Years of
experimenting and working
as a professional musician
have helped attract a diverse
clientele, including Vince Gill,
James Taylor, Dave Matthews,
Kaki King, Eddie Van Halen,
and John Mayer. With the
help of Ande Chase, the
Woodstock, NY shop produces
truly inspiring and innovative
instruments - a diverse range of
tools for musicians.
