Boxing Day
Wake late, take your time at breakfast,
then jump aboard our coach journey to
The Alverton – our sister hotel in Truro.
Here, the skilled chefs will prepare a Cornish
buffet lunch before Near-ta Theatre’s cult
festive comedy.
“Christmas. Time.” will be performed in the
stunning Great Hall for our guests. Back for
its eleventh consecutive year, join prison
inmates Charlie and Toby on a fantastical
adventure full of songs, snowmen and lots
of laughs.

After diving into breakfast one last time, it’s
time to check out and head home, with our
warmest wishes for 2020.
Christmas Day
Today is all about indulgence. Find your
stocking hung from your bedroom door, then
spend a mellow morning as you please after
a leisurely breakfast paired with buck’s fizz.
Early riser? Don’t miss the yearly Christmas
Day swim at Gyllyngvase beach, from 10am.
It’s quite the spectacle – even if you don’t
fancy braving it yourself!
Back at The Greenbank, kick back at dinner
and find a selection of games in our bar.

For lunch, we’ve got it covered. We’ll butter
roast the turkey, poach the sole, flambé the
Christmas pudding. You’ll just need to eat,
drink in the view, and be merry.
In the evening, crack our Christmas puzzle
or snuggle up with a tipple before our buffet
with all the trimmings. Head to bed feeling
content with a full belly and plenty of
festive cheer.
