THAT’S A well deserved accolade for Grant<br />
Windsor on page 1 today.<br />
The Heathcote resident has been around<br />
the sporting scene for decades, particularly<br />
as a reporter and broadcaster on radio.<br />
I remember as a young sports reporter<br />
(print) bumping into Grant around the traps and he would<br />
always have a big smile and laugh. And he was a knowledgeable<br />
bloke too, of course.<br />
He now volunteers at Radio Lollipop, a station for children in<br />
hospital, and has also worked with disabled children and at rest<br />
homes.<br />
So well done Grant for being made a Member of the New<br />
Zealand Order of Merit in the Queen’s Birthday Honours for<br />
your contribution to sport and broadcasting.<br />
An all round top bloke, you might say.<br />
