THEATER
More than 85 alumni and their guests gathered for the
third annual O’Dowd Alumni Night at the Theater reception,
held in the CES on Friday, May 4, 2018, before attending
the Drama Department’s production of Hair.
Emily Murphy ’90, Cleo Vilett ’90, Demian Salgado ’90, Jennifer Kesseler ’90
and Alexander Quinn ’90.
The classes of 1989 and 1990 were particularly well represented.
Several alumni were Drama Department veterans
and had participated in earlier productions of Hair, including
Carmella Schuermann ’10 who traveled the farthest
– from Munich, Germany – to attend the event.
Attendees were encouraged to come dressed in their
grooviest outfits and participate in a costume contest.
Former Dean Sondra Arnsdorf, social studies teacher
Fritz Blume and his wife, Mary, and Lynn Cardin-Anderson
’63 served as judges for the contest. Winners included
Schuermann, Dick Moore ’63, Linda Moore, Ashley Rollins
’07 and Blair Jackson.
Special thanks to Drama Director Dennis Kohles ’69 for
providing complimentary tickets for the O’Dowd alums,
and well-deserved kudos to all the talented students in the
musical.
Members of the Rodriguez family: Aria ’94 Dante ’84, Ramon and Qiqi ’90.
