Now we’re gearing up for Alumni Reunion Weekend,<br />
starting with the Beer Garden on Friday, October 28.<br />
Be sure to register soon at www.bishopodowd.org/<br />
abg, as space is limited. Please note: the last day to<br />
RSVP is October 14, and all attendees must be on<br />
the event list to gain entrance. Then, on Saturday,<br />
October 29, the classes of 1956, 1961 and 1981 will<br />
be celebrating their reunions on campus. Finally, on<br />
Sunday, October 30, the class of 1986 will hold a family<br />
picnic on the Quad to cap off the reunion weekend.<br />
It’s always thrilling to have so many O’Dowd alums<br />
back on campus!<br />

It was such a joy to collaborate with our Drama Department<br />
for the inaugural O’Dowd Alumni Pre-Show<br />
Reception. On Saturday, May 7, fifty alums enjoyed<br />
the reception before attending the Drama Department’s<br />
production of A Chorus Line. Quite a few<br />
O’Dowd alumni had special ties to the theater, others<br />
were excited to see their kids or grandkids in the<br />
performance, while some simply wanted to enjoy a<br />
night at the theater with fellow alums. Special thanks<br />
to Drama Director Dennis Kohles ’69 for providing<br />
complimentary tickets for our alums and bravo to the<br />
talented students in the musical.<br />
