I have been a part of several<br />
teams, associations, groups, and<br />
clubs throughout my life. There<br />
has always been one or two<br />
people in the organization that<br />
seem to excel at coordinating<br />
and executing events.<br />

Well, the SCA has two of those unique individuals who always seem<br />
to bring success to the events and our association. THANK YOU<br />
Mathieu Schwartz and Jason Kettlehut!<br />
Mathieu was responsible for the SCA’s annual golf tournament, held<br />
at Turkey Creek again this year. The weather and the day were both<br />
perfect! We had a fantastic turnout and raised a lot of money for the<br />
<strong>Sacramento</strong> Fire Fighters Burn Institute.<br />
Jason, the SCA Social Committee Chairman, executed yet another<br />
phenomenal social event at Mayahuel. Although I was not able to<br />
make this event, I was told it was a success with a great turnout of<br />
around 37 people! A good time was had by all and I heard the watermelon<br />
margaritas were once again a big hit! Again, THANK YOU to<br />
Mathieu and Jason for putting on unbelievable events that only help<br />
our SCA grow stronger!<br />
I don’t know about you folks, but this year is absolutely zooming by!<br />
It is already the end of June with school out and the summer heat<br />
hitting hard. And with the heat and the 4th of <strong>July</strong>, it is getting closer<br />
to the SCA Family Night at the River Cats game! This year’s event<br />
is scheduled for <strong>July</strong> 16 and promises to once again be a really fun<br />
event for SCA Members and their families. To purchase tickets for<br />

org for more information and possible sponsorship opportunities.<br />
Finally, we have had a lot of new faces at our events this year, which<br />
is so great! With so many new Members comes new and fresh ideas<br />
for the SCA. So, if you are interested in being on the SCA Board of<br />
Directors and having a definite impact on our association, please do<br />
not hesitate to contact me or any other Director and find out how you<br />
can be more involved!<br />

DH Construction Welcomes Brandon Trammel<br />
Brandon Trammel,<br />
a local web and<br />
marketing veteran,<br />
has joined DH Construction<br />
as their<br />
Digital Communications<br />
Manager. He<br />
will be responsible<br />
for managing all<br />
websites and social media channels,<br />
as well as setting up digital<br />
marketing campaigns. Brandon<br />
will also play a major role in assisting<br />
with all in-house IT and<br />
network-related tasks.<br />
Brandon was born in <strong>Sacramento</strong><br />
and has lived there all his life.<br />
He began studying web design<br />
as a junior at Laguna Creek<br />
Brandon Trammel<br />
High School in<br />
Elk Grove.<br />
After graduating<br />
in 1998, Brandon<br />
continued his<br />
education in web<br />
application design<br />
and development<br />
at California<br />
State University, <strong>Sacramento</strong>.<br />
“Design has been a passion of<br />
mine from a young age. Being<br />
able to create something, whether<br />
it be with code, a camera, or creative<br />
software such as Photoshop<br />
or Lightroom, it’s really therapeutic<br />
for me,” said Brandon.<br />
