ASME DTU Chapter explores Yakult<br />
ASME DTU Chapter organised an industrial<br />
visit to the Yakult Danone factory,<br />
Sonepat. The visit included an<br />
informative presentation about<br />
the manufacturing of Yakult and<br />
its health benefits, a guided tour<br />
through the manufacturing unit<br />
and an exhibition of the automated<br />
cleansing and refrigeration of the<br />
unit.<br />
DTU Consulting Group publishes<br />
casebook<br />
DTU Consulting Group is<br />
presently in the process of<br />
publishing DTU’s First Official<br />
Casebook. The casebook contains<br />
twenty guesstimates and twenty<br />
cases presented in an interview<br />
transcript. The cases have been tailored<br />
to DTU’s placement process, and after each<br />
case interview, a prudent analysis is done. A few<br />
physical copies of the casebook will be<br />
available in the university’s Library and<br />
an ebook version will also be made<br />
available on the university’s official<br />
website.<br />
Quizzers of Delhi-42 win<br />
accolades<br />
At Ashoka University,<br />
Kumar Shashwat stood<br />
1st in the MELA Quiz, while<br />
Ankit and Bramhdeep<br />
Singh finished 3rd in the<br />
Business Quiz. At Netaji<br />
Subhash University of Technology,<br />
Ankit and Anwesha Chattoraj came 3rd<br />
in the General Quiz while Ankit and<br />
Bramhdeep Singh secured 2nd<br />
position in the Business Quiz.<br />
Madhurima bags awards<br />
The Madhurima a capella<br />
team bagged the 1st prize at<br />
Keshav Mahavidyalaya, and<br />
were placed 2nd at Daulat Ram<br />
College. Jessjit Singh stood 1st<br />
in the Western Solo category at<br />
Jamia Millia Islamia.<br />
Google Developer Student Club<br />
DTU organises workshops<br />
In association with the Department<br />
of Training & Placement, the Google<br />
Developer Student Club (DTU) organised<br />
GTech Week. It consisted of a series of workshops<br />
on machine learning, android app development<br />
and web development, and was attended by over<br />
400 students. A Full Stack Web Development<br />
Summer Camp was also organised. The course<br />
structure included courses on HTML, CSS, Ubuntu,<br />
and Domain among many.<br />

At Delhi College of Arts and<br />
Commerce, Pratibimb<br />
secured the Best<br />
Production award, and<br />
Sahil Bhasin was awarded<br />
Best Actor. They bagged<br />
the 2nd Best Play award at Sri<br />
Venkateswara College, and Sahil<br />
Bhasin, Divya Pandey, and Mrinal Singh received<br />
the Best Performers award. Divya Pandey secured<br />
the Best Actress award at St Stephen’s College and<br />
Hindu College, while Prakhar Singh received the<br />
Best Actor award at Hindu College.<br />
