Deliveries &
collections
All deliveries and collections must be made through
the front entrance and transferred immediately to a
suitable storage area. Use of the common areas for
storage is not permitted.
Tenants must ensure that delivery vehicles do not
cause obstructions to the service road or traffic routes.
Road markings and no parking areas must be
observed at all times.
Use of fork lift trucks and other similar vehicles is not
permitted in the common areas without prior
agreement.
Repairs for damage to the service roads caused by
goods deliveries may be charged.
Bulk Deliveries
Where bulk deliveries are being arranged which could
cause damage to the fabric of Fothergill House, it will
be necessary to agree the precise route of entry and
ensure that parts of the building susceptible to
damage are adequately protected. All protection works
are to be carried out at the expense of the tenant, and,
if necessary, a schedule of condition will be prepared
by the management team to avoid any disputes
concerning any damage. Deliveries will only be
conveyed to and from the floor by using the
appropriate lift/stair.
Stairwells can only be used after out hours – subject
to prior agreement with the Facilities Manager – and
adequate protection should be put in place.
Food Deliveries
Food deliveries (both bulk and “takeaway”) will be
treated in the same manner as other bulk deliveries, i.e.
delivered to your floor via the lift/stair.
Responsibilities for Loss or Damage
Neither the landlord, its managing agents, security and
reception staff, nor their representatives can be held
responsible for any loss or damage, which may occur
to any items or goods delivered to the building or to
those items or goods during attempted delivery to the
building.
