Impact of Brexit<br />
<strong>Take</strong> <strong>Art</strong>’s belief that the rural <strong>to</strong>uring model<br />
is transferable <strong>to</strong> Europe might seem a little<br />
counter-intuitive in the midst of all the glum,<br />
introspective navel-gazing associated with<br />
Brexit. We remain optimistic however and<br />
were relieved <strong>to</strong> hear about the UK Guarantee<br />
Scheme in the event of a no-deal Brexit.<br />
OUR INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS<br />
Our RIOTE2 and SPARSE projects focus on the<br />
creation of new rural <strong>to</strong>uring networks in other<br />
countries. Locomo<strong>to</strong>r, which is a Carn <strong>to</strong> Cove<br />
project, helps us <strong>to</strong> bring International artists <strong>to</strong><br />
the UK <strong>to</strong> perform on the South West <strong>to</strong>uring<br />
schemes.<br />
All of these projects have put <strong>Take</strong> <strong>Art</strong> on the<br />
global map and given us the opportunity <strong>to</strong> get<br />
involved in RURITAGE, a four-year EU-funded<br />
culture and heritage project with a focus on<br />
rural regeneration.<br />
