farm goals.<br />
The successful<br />
applicant will be able to<br />
implement the agreed<br />
farm management<br />
plan, completing all<br />
tasks for herd and farm<br />
management.<br />
It is expected that the<br />
2IC will understand<br />
the farms targets and<br />
help to implement the<br />
activities that will mean the<br />
business can meet those<br />
targets.<br />
The position will be<br />
strongly focused on milk<br />
production, including<br />
feed, harvesting and<br />
quality, working with the<br />
farm manager to allocate<br />
pasture on a daily basis,<br />
within the bounds of the<br />
feed budget, to produce<br />
the highest milk quality.<br />
Stock management<br />
is another key focus<br />
area, including animal<br />
health, seasonal<br />
health/management<br />
requirements, calving and<br />
record keeping.<br />
Supporting the farm<br />
manager with resource<br />
and environmental<br />
compliance including<br />
effluent, nutrient and<br />
irrigation plans.<br />
A sound understanding<br />
of Health and Safety is<br />
paramount, alongside<br />
leadership skill to motivate<br />
and build confidence in<br />
the wider team.<br />
A full drivers licence<br />
and current work visa is<br />
required, class 2 preferred.<br />

ENROLMENT IN 2020<br />
Enrolment at the school is governed by an Enrolment Scheme, details of which<br />
are available from the School Office. The Board has determined that up to six (6)<br />
places are likely to be available for out-of-zone students for 2020.<br />
These are offered in Years 1-3. The exact number of places will depend on the<br />
number of enrolments received from students who live within the school zone.<br />
The deadline for receipt of applications is 4pm on Monday 21 <strong>October</strong> <strong>2019</strong>. If a<br />
ballot is required it will be held on Tuesday 29 <strong>October</strong> <strong>2019</strong>.<br />
Parents of students who live within the school zone and intend enrolling their child<br />
at any time during 2020 should notify the school by the above date also to assist<br />
the school to plan appropriately. Students who live in the school zone are entitled<br />
to enrol at the school and do not require to be balloted.<br />
