2IC POSITION
We are looking for
a reliable and self
motivated 2IC, that is
able to work as part
of the team as well
as motivate and lead
others to achieve
farm goals.
The successful
applicant will be able to
implement the agreed
farm management
plan, completing all
tasks for herd and farm
management.
It is expected that the
2IC will understand
the farms targets and
help to implement the
activities that will mean the
business can meet those
targets.
The position will be
strongly focused on milk
production, including
feed, harvesting and
quality, working with the
farm manager to allocate
pasture on a daily basis,
within the bounds of the
feed budget, to produce
the highest milk quality.
Stock management
is another key focus
area, including animal
health, seasonal
health/management
requirements, calving and
record keeping.
Supporting the farm
manager with resource
and environmental
compliance including
effluent, nutrient and
irrigation plans.
A sound understanding
of Health and Safety is
paramount, alongside
leadership skill to motivate
and build confidence in
the wider team.
A full drivers licence
and current work visa is
required, class 2 preferred.

ENROLMENT IN 2020
Enrolment at the school is governed by an Enrolment Scheme, details of which
are available from the School Office. The Board has determined that up to six (6)
places are likely to be available for out-of-zone students for 2020.
These are offered in Years 1-3. The exact number of places will depend on the
number of enrolments received from students who live within the school zone.
The deadline for receipt of applications is 4pm on Monday 21 October 2019. If a
ballot is required it will be held on Tuesday 29 October 2019.
Parents of students who live within the school zone and intend enrolling their child
at any time during 2020 should notify the school by the above date also to assist
the school to plan appropriately. Students who live in the school zone are entitled
to enrol at the school and do not require to be balloted.
