LOOKING BACK, LOOKING AHEAD
We hit the ground running in 2018, with renewed strength and clarity of purpose driven by our
expanded mission as the go-to gender equity solution provider for the Food Industry. Our focus is on
accelerating women’s advancement and helping our Partners reap the rewards of a gender-diverse
workplace to drive business growth.
One of the most critical ways we do that is by convening the Food Industry in extensive collaboration
within and across sectors. We have expanded our circle of influence by connecting with new partners
in hospitality, wine and spirits and automated merchandising, as well as support industries such as
banking and finance. At the same time, we continue to nurture our deep ties to our industry’s most
active and visible trade organizations.
We are especially proud of the insights and innovation alliances we bring to the industry that empower
all of us with industry-specific research on women’s progress. The most visible of these is our
ongoing partnership with McKinsey & Company that gives WFF Partners access to the Women in the
Workplace Study for the Food Industry.
All of these connections work together to make us stronger and position us to be among the first
industries to close the gender gap and win the war for talent.
There’s no question, we feel a certain degree of pride in helping to move gender equity to the top of
the agenda throughout the Food Industry. As well, we are humbled by the opportunity to play a unique
role in opening greater opportunities to women and helping our Partner Companies to unlock their
full potential.
Thank you for your ongoing support. We are pleased to share these highlights from the year.
