SET A PATH TO SUCCESS Our friends get excited when the Harrison County Community Foundation (HCCF) announces a new $2 for $1 match program for local nonprofits. Now there’s even more excitement! Lilly Endowment Inc. is offering a special match program to HCCF. The Endowment will match donations to the foundation for unrestricted funds with $2 for every $1 gift up to a total of $440,000. Why does this matter to you? HCCF uses unrestricted funds to award grants, like the recent one to complete the Indian Creek Trail, which connects downtown Corydon to Hayswood Park. For 22 years, HCCF has been using unrestricted funds to meet the various needs of the community. These needs affect everyone who lives in, works in, or visits Harrison County. Now, you can take action to help your community by making an unrestricted gift to HCCF. This was originally the site of the Calumet Club around 1919 and became the Indiana Theater in 1927. It was demolished in January or February of 1960. This photo was taken by Steve Anshutz in 1959.
