Kaslo May Days Event Planner
Background: Kaslo Chamber of Commerce oversees
and promotes this annual spring celebration on behalf
of the Village of Kaslo and the town’s businesses and
organizations.
Expectation: That the successful candidate will coordinate
the May Days 2020 by applying the best practices
as are outlined in the ‘How To May Days’ manual, supplied
in digital form at the request of all interested parties.
After receiving the instructional manual, interested
parties will submit their applications that will demonstrate:
their understanding of, and their ability to plan such an
event by completing a timeline of tasks they believe will
culminate in a successful May Day celebration.
The Chamber Board will be looking for a methodical
and logical sequenced timeline based on the information
given you. Familiarity with grant writing an is asset.
Applicants are required to include proof in the form of
accessible references from past event planning or similar
experiences.
