Faringdon<br />

on the move<br />

A significant contributor to the growth of Rolleston<br />

is the people who have invested in the town and<br />

developed land for residential use. A major player in<br />

this growth has been Hughes Developments Limited,<br />

the company behind Faringdon.<br />

Hughes Development has a 20-year proven track<br />

sold within a year. The Borough was created at the<br />

same time and only seven of the total 96 lots are still<br />

available there.<br />

Recognising the continual demand for residential<br />

land in Rolleston, Hughes Developments have<br />

continued to open up opportunity for people to locate<br />

there. Title for the latest stage, The Greens is expected<br />

in three to four weeks yet already 64 of the 104<br />

sections have been sold.<br />

$159,900, up to $195,000 for the<br />

largest lots, it is not surprising<br />

that over 60% of the lots at The<br />

Greens are now sold.<br />

residential developments,” adds Bruce.<br />

Wider Faringdon is well-situated, close to much of<br />

what Rolleston offers. Rolleston College, Foster Park<br />

and the <strong>Selwyn</strong> Aquatic Centre are all on its doorstep<br />

along with other educational and recreational<br />

facilities while the shopping precinct is also within<br />

walking distance.<br />

Faringdon and its many parts are likely<br />

to be showpieces in time to come with<br />

more quality developments planned for the<br />

future.<br />

12noon until 4pm, at 51 Lanner Drive<br />
