At the edge of the nature park Medvednica, an area where one can live in leisure and breathe clean air, on a plot of a total area of approx. 18,300 sq m, with a natural water source and watercourse, an innovative architectural project, ZELENI DVORI, has been developed. At its core is a polyclinic with accompanying facilities, 14 low-energy homes with gardens, and an access road and promenade. Imperativ je postići izvanredna energetska svojstva vanjske ovojnice
zgrade, što znači da kuća smije imati samo minimalne toplinske
gubitke u hladnim zimskim ili minimalne toplinske dobitke u vrućim
ljetnim mjesecima.
Jamac tome je gradnja šupljim blokovima od pečene gline ili
termoblokovima zapunjenim betonskom jezgrom.
TRADITIONAL OR CONTEMPORARY – the choice is yours
It is imperative to achieve excellent energy properties of the outer
envelope of the building, which means that a house may have only
minimal thermal losses in cold winter months or minimal thermal
gains in hot summer months.
This will be ensured by constructing the buildings using hollow clay
blocks or thermal blocks with a concrete core.

• Solid masonry using expanded polystyrene Neopor blocks as formwork
for concrete masonry, with formwork remaining in the structure to act as
thermal insulation.
