Sixteen years in<br />
the swing alfas<br />
NINETY players turned<br />
up for a special charity<br />
event last weekend as<br />
the l’Alfas-Albi Golf Club<br />
celebrated its sixteenth<br />
anniversary.<br />

Perez also attended, and<br />
he thanked the club for<br />
the work they do with the<br />

community and noted that<br />
there are currently 30 students<br />
at the Municipal Golf<br />
School.<br />
The event itself raised<br />
€1,200 with the proceeds going<br />
to Chitipa, a small village<br />
in Malawi where the money<br />
will be used to help with the<br />
many social projects needed<br />
there.<br />

of the club, thanked those<br />
who attended noting that<br />
tournaments usually only<br />
attract 50 to 60 golfers, so<br />
this was an excellent turn<br />
out for a charitable event.<br />
