REALLY BORING OR SUPER HIP?

Biking with an E-Bike? Hot or not?

Magdalena from the eva, team was talking to our buddies from Bike'n Soul and asked if it´s already cool to be

seen with an E-MTB (E-Mountainbike) at the local biking scene?

Magdalena: So, Karsten, tell me: e-MTB – is it cool or not cool at all?

Karsten: Super cool!

Magdalena: OK, and why? Won't I look pretty lazy? Who actually rides an e-MTB?

UNSERE WINTER HARD FACTS:

Karsten: No, not at all! The experience on the mountain will be incredibly intensified by the e-MTB, for all kinds

of bikers. Passionate rider can compensate for differences in physical condition with different levels of support,

and the trail rider can facilitate the ascent or race down a trail after the cable car is closed. And even a tour with

more than 1,000 metres of altitude difference becomes more pleasant, so you can conquer the peak even later

in the day. Just imagine a sunset tour!

Magdalena: Not bad! Can I use the e-MTB anywhere or do I have to pay attention to something?

Karsten: Basically, you can ride the e-MTB on all paths and trails that are also cleared for a normal bike.

In Saalbach, we have a huge trail and route network which is getting larger every year.

Magdalena: And now the most important question: "What if I run out of battery?"

Karsten: Haha... this never happens on our guided tours!

Magdalena: How come? The battery of an e-MTB can't last forever, right?

Karsten: We guides regularly ask our guests about their battery status and give advice as to which support

level they should choose for their next ascent in order to finish a tour without any problems. Here you get

to know and assess your bike really well. And if you really run out of battery or want to recharge, Saalbach

already has a very good charging network with different locations in alpine chalets, shops and other spots in

the valley.

Magdalena: That sounds really cool. So tell me: where I can borrow an e-MTB? I think I'll give this a try right

away!

Karsten: The best thing you can do is to just visit our Bike'n Soul shops in Saalbach or Hinterglemm. Then you

can start right away with the cable cars or with our guides.

Magdalena: OK, great! Then I'll get one quickly and I'll see you later on the trail, right?

Karsten: That's right! See you in a bit on the Panorama Trail!
