Arrive in Puglia and spend the afternoon meeting your
group and exploring Ostuni.
Enjoy a guided tour of Alberobello, one of Puglia’s most
important landmarks. Afterwards, continue to Ostuni for a
guided visit of the ‘White City’. On the way, we will stop at
an oil mill in Cisternino to enjoy a tasting.
We head to the Baroque town of Martina Franca to
browse the weekly market and take part in a cooking class.
The afternoon will take you to the impressive caves of
Castellana, a must-see for visitors to Puglia.
At leisure; we recommend relaxing by the hotel’s small pool.
The beautiful Baroque city Lecce is known as the ‘Florence
of the South’. Your guide will show you some of the city’s
most beautiful Baroque buildings before you head to
Otranto, the most southerly city in Italy.
The morning includes a focaccia bread tasting in a familyrun
bakery before driving to the picturesque town of Matera
in nearby Basilicata.
We visit Bari and explore the maze-like streets of the lively
city before stopping in Polignano a Mare, a coastal town
famous for its ice cream.
After breakfast, it’s time to head home.
