bottom of the gorge, where you can have a paddle or even a swim. Your next stop
is Mount Etna, Europe’s biggest active volcano. As you ascend to a height of 1,900
metres, your guide will fill you in on the volcano’s geology and history. Once you arrive,
you’ll be able to enjoy a spectacular outlook across Sicily and the Ionian Sea. Bring
sturdy shoes with you, as you’ll need to walk the last half hour or so to reach the crater.
